Your Stay

What's On-site

The Anglers Clubhouse

This is where you all get together for your evening grub, a drink, a chat and a laugh and of course planning your evening session. With views over the lake, you can eat inside or outside depending on what the weather throws at you and you can keep an eye on what the fish are up to!

Tea and coffee facilities if you want a brew away from your bivvy. Fridge and freezer space for your food if you need it and a separate bait freezer. Washing up facilities if you're cooking yourself.

The Practical Stuff

Two hot showers and two proper toilets. Towels, toilet paper and soap provided. Wifi over the whole lake, English plug sockets and parking on-site.

Lake Shop

We have all the essentials here - end tackle, mossie spray, milk, water, snacks, drinks and ice creams to name a few, so no need to stop fishing because you forgot something! If we don't have it, we can pop out and grab it for you. So you can focus on the carp, not shopping!

YOUR FISHING

Getting Your Gear Round

We'll trailer everything to your swim when you arrive - except your rods, no one wants those bouncing around in the back of a trailer! Carp cradles, weigh slings and tripods, collapsible buckets and carp care kits are all at your swim ready to use, so you can get set up and fishing as soon as possible.

During Your Week

Your holiday, your way. We're on-site if you need us. If you've booked the meal package, breakfast and lunch will be delivered to your swim. Just relax and fish.

Was a very nice lake and very peaceful surroundings and we had plenty of laughs through the week and 3 of us had PBs. And the food was extremely good!

Meals

Liza does proper food with no skimping on portions - breakfast delivered to your swim, and if you'd like lunch too, we can sort that. Evening meal at the Anglers Clubhouse. No cooking stress (or burnt food when you get a run! 🎣😂), no washing up, just good food so you can focus on fishing.

You'll be well fed - we promise!

Dietary Stuff

We'll be in touch a couple of weeks before you arrive to sort any allergies or things you don't like. We can't do vegan, but for everything else we'll have a chat and see what we can do for you.

How It Works

You don't all have to have the same meal package - for example, if three of you want breakfast and one doesn't, that's fine. Same with dinner. Just let us know what each person wants when you book.

Breakfast

Bacon and sausage baguette with tea or coffee - delivered to your swim. On Saturday, we'll give you croissants and pain au chocolat to keep you going for the journey.

Lunch

Baguettes delivered to your swim - we'll check with you what you like.

Evening Meals

Dinner and pud with ice cream at the Anglers Clubhouse, all served with French bread:

  • Saturday: Spaghetti Bolognaise
  • Sunday: Roast Chicken Leg, Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pud, Veg & Gravy
  • Monday: Beef and Potato Stew
  • Tuesday: Lasagne and Chips
  • Wednesday: Local Sausages, Mash & Onion Gravy and Peas
  • Thursday: Chicken Curry with Rice
  • Friday: Cheeseburger, Chips and Coleslaw

from booking to the bank

Here's how your week works from booking to heading home.

After You Book

You'll get a confirmation email with payment details. Full balance is due 10 weeks before you arrive.  We'll get in touch to remind you about that, so no need to remember. If you want to pay in chunks rather than all at once, that's fine too. Three weeks before you arrive, we'll send you all the pre-arrival info, confirm any details about food and make sure we have your bait order organised.

Arrival Day

Arrival time is flexible - as early as possible depending on when the previous guests leave. We'll greet you, show you around, make sure you have everything you need (wifi passwords, bait, meal times, the lot!), and get your gear to your swim. Then you can get fishing!

Departure

10am checkout on Saturday. We'll check what time you need your gear picking up ready for loading. Safe journey home!

For your sat nav Google or Apple Maps are the most reliable.

Don't Forget - You'll Need These For Your Car

Just so you don't get stopped and miss any fishing time, here's a quick reminder on French driving laws:

  • UK sticker (unless your number plate already has the UK identifier)
  • Warning triangle
  • Hi-vis vest (one per person)
  • Headlamp beam deflectors

If you want to grab everything in one go an easy solution is to search "France driving kit" on Amazon (around £25) and you'll get everything in one pack.
